Specifically for basketball shoes, which is better...Adidas or Nike?

I just recently grew out of my basketball shoes, nikes this time, and was wondering which type of shoe i should get next. Besides basketball shoes, i prefer adidas as an everyday shoe, and as an avid tennis player, Adidas excels in that sport to. Specifically for basketball shoes however, what do you recommend?
