3rd month in TTC ! looking for some advice?
uming you have a 28 day cycle, and you have a luteal phase of 14 days (number of days between ovulating and getting your period), then you timed very well! Either wait until the day before your expected period and take a First Response Early Result pregnancy test, or, if you want to obsess over symptoms like I did, I recommend you start to chart your basal body temperature on www.fertilityfriend.com. If your temperature doesn't drop the day before or the day of your expected period, take a First Response Early Result pregnancy test. If you have never temped before, buy a digital BASAL thermometer (available in the family planning section of your local drugstore) and take your temperature lly at the same exact time every morning (set the alarm if your waking schedule varies). Basal thermometers record 2 numbers after the decimal point so it is more exact. I have been TTC my first child for a long time and suffered a missed miscarriage in February at over 8 weeks! My last period was July 20th. I ovulated on August 5th. I know this because I chart my temperatures. I got my first positive First Response pregnancy test yesterday, but my period isn't even due until tomorrow.
