Which OS is better for a PC?

I don't want to go out and buy a copy of Windows, not because i don't like it, but because i don't have the money yet. So I want to know, which is better, Windows or Linux. I know that both have their advantages. but which is better for gaming and media? because I want to be able to use iTunes and other things that require Windows. So what is better for ease of use, and can Linux run Windows programs? and does anyone have a full copy of Windows XP that they'd sell me? Email me at tech_e_boi@yahoo.com
