Post-divorce problems?

I've been legally separated for over a year now, when my baby was 11 months old. Now he's a little over two. The actual divorce proceedings are going to start by next month I guess. And I need to anticipate any problems I might have later on, and not the ones people generally know like custody, maintenance and stuff. I'd like to know what problems the kids faced, what could cause mishaps and discord probably even anger again. Anyone have any personal experiences regarding this? Thanks a lot!
