I have a minor case of hemmrhoids, help please?

So i have like three lumps in my rectum that come out only after i have used the bathroom. It doesnt bleed because i use baby wipes (always have) and i try to be as gentle as possible. I already made an appointment with the doctor but i wanted other peoples opinion. Especially from people who have had it before. My hemmrhoids arent so bad that they need surgical removal. ( ive done my research) but i was just wondering what i should do to make them go away....
