Snake bite lip piercing healing?

Alright, I'm thinking of getting the snake bite lip piercings. But for my vocational school I'm not allowedto wear them, so say I get them over spring break (meaning that would be a week of healing), would it be okay if I took them out for like 2 and 1/2 hours for school? Or would it close up within that time? I would put them back in after school though
