No one believes me, please help?

i was having a birthday party for myself, and had some of my sailor friends, and my advisor. we were dancing to some festive jigs, until my present was presented to me, which was when he started forcing me to get married. i confirmed i would marry only for love. a storm hit, and the ship caught on fire. i was knocked unconscious from rescuing the dog, and then i was rescued by a girl, and she started singing some sappy song. now the problem is that no one believes me about this girl, and she was real.
